Had to make a stop at Aling Lucing's Sisig, the place known for creating the sisig we all love today. Of course, I couldn’t leave without bringing some home. Got their frozen sisig to share with the fam, plus a jar of burong hipon… and wow, easily the best I’ve tried so far!

As for the sisig, I’ll save my full thoughts for another post since I tried quite a few spots in Pampanga. But one thing’s for sure, there’s something special about tasting it from where it all began.

Pampanga really set the bar high when it comes to food! 😍

Out of all the food I tried in Pampanga, this one felt the most comforting. ❤️

Their chicken mami and sotanghon soup are immaculate. It honestly raised my standards even for simple dishes like these.

I think I’m going to have separation anxiety from Susie’s Cuisine now that I’m away. 😂

BRMC Bar & Grill in Pampanga served some tasty Filipino dishes. Their fried chicken feet with s**a was a highlight, I missed eating chicken feet!

I liked their sinigang na pork belly, it was fruity, and hearty. The taste is just right.

The Kare-kare had seafood, which was a surprise because I thought it's a Crispy Pork Kare-kare. It's good but I like Oxtail or Tripe Kare-kare more.

They have massive servings, so lunch for the next day was sorted. 😅

Sooo I get to try sisig again, this time from Mila's Tokwa't Baboy & Sisig here in Angeles, Pampanga. It was ordered through Grab.

It was more citrusy than Cusina de Parilla's. This sisig has crunchy bits, I'm not sure if it's chicharon or fried pork.

Although Mila's sisig is good, Cusina de Parilla's sisig is still my pick.

To lessen the guilt, I ate it with corn grits, veggies and Sundubu jjigae. 🤣

Before I go home, I still have Aling Lucing's sisig on my list to try. I should not miss it as it is where the original sisig came from!!! They also sell burong hipon in which I would pretty much like to try!
