Here’s a unit we worked on recently and this is how we defined its zoning.
At first glance, it follows a familiar layout: kitchen, living area, then bedroom. But instead of allowing the space to blur into one, we introduced soft separation to clearly define how each zone is used.
The sleeping area is subtly enclosed through integrated cabinetry and an elevated bed, with a sliding partition that can partially close off the space when privacy is needed.
For the living zone, the same cabinetry was extended to form a built-in sofa, keeping the footprint efficient and visually cohesive.
Between the living area and kitchen, a foldable table acts as a flexible divider. When opened, it functions as a dining table and extends seating. When folded, it becomes additional counter space for the kitchen.
A small unit designed with clear zones for working, eating, and relaxing—without making the space feel boxed in.
