Golobic Residence.
The project sits on a steep site allowing the play of multi-level spaces. The orientation of the residence was paramount to resolve privacy, away from the afternoon sun, and the vista.

Dr. John's Residence is set in the hill overlooking the Bay in Tarempa and the vast Anambas seas. With it's remote location, readily available materials such as steel in black anti-corrosion coatings, polished concrete, and wood, establishes the industrial and fixed elements of the house. With Indonesia's rich of the arts, a collection of artifacts ranging from a torquise hues balance the interior tone palletes.

We are getting excited to our 2nd round of schematic designs on this hut for prototype fabrication. With the combined vernacular and advance materials, the goal is to produce a compact accommodation that can be easily knocked-down and mobilized yet speaks of the local architecture to which this structure will be built.
