Who says a motel renovation needs a massive budget to look expensive? 🤫
We took on the challenge of transforming this space with a VERY tight budget. The solution? Extreme Minimalism. By stripping away the visual clutter and focusing on essential textures and lighting, we turned a "quick stop" room into a sanctuary you actually want to stay in.
Proof that you don't need to break the bank to elevate the experience. Sometimes, less truly is more (and more comfortable!).

Micro-Living, Macro-Impact: The Final Design for Project "200k House"
We are thrilled to share the final, approved design (2nd revision) for our ambitious "200k House" project! This design challenge focused on maximizing style, functionality, and spatial efficiency within a strict budget, proving that premium design doesn't require a premium price tag.
✨ Design Highlights & Intent:
Vertical Volume: The open-riser, minimalist white staircase acts as a sculptural element, maximizing light pe*******on and emphasizing the verticality of the space to prevent it from feeling confined.
The Feature Wall: The striking Terracotta Screen/Breeze Block wall serves as the main design anchor, offering a vibrant, textured contrast to the neutral palette while cleverly filtering light and providing privacy.
Industrial Chic: A curated mix of materials—polished concrete floors, clean white walls, exposed ceiling beams, and black metal accents (lighting, window frames, furniture)—creates a contemporary, industrial-chic aesthetic.
Smart Zoning: Spaces flow seamlessly but are clearly defined. The living area is cozy and minimal, transitioning directly to a sleek, multi-functional counter/bar that doubles as a dining and workspace, perfect for micro-living.
The Sanctuary: The bathroom maintains the same clean, minimalist language, featuring a bright, airy space with an open shower and simple, modern fixtures for a spa-like feel.
This design is a testament to the power of thoughtful constraint—every detail serves a purpose, culminating in a beautiful, cost-effective, and inspiring home.

Ar. Marvin Aroban graduated from Far Eastern University as the Top 1 Best Thesis Awardee, and have since gained 8 years of experience in construction management, design, and visualization, I have worked on a wide range of projects - from residential (low-cost to luxury), low- to high-rise developments, offices, and mixed-use developments, to resorts, warehouses, interior renovations, and hotels - turning concepts into reality.

Beside is Lorie Mae Valencia, a proud graduate of Bataan Peninsula State University. At only 24 years old, she is already a Finance and Accounting Manager of a well known manpower corporate, leading manpower for some of the Philippines’ most well-known courier companies.

Together, we embody dedication, leadership, and the vision to build a future that’s both inspiring and impactful.
