Rhynchostylis Retusa - this is a medium sized, hot to cool growing species that comes from the Chinese Himalayas, Assam, Bangladesh, eastern Himalayas, India, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Western Himalayas, Andaman Islands, Myanmar, Thailand, Laos, Cambodia, Vietnam, Malaysia, Borneo, Java, Sumatra, and the Philippines in semi-deciduous and deciduous dry lowland forests and savana-like woodlands at elevations of sealevel to 1200 meters with stout, repent, short stem carrying to 12, curved, fleshy, ligulate, deeply channeled, keeled, praemorse or retuse apically leaves and blooms in the winter, spring and summer on an axillary, pendant, to 2' [60 cm long, densely many flowered inflorescence carrying citrus scented flowers requiring even water and fertilizer year round.

Finally a new post after all the months of waiting 😅
Eria Brachystachya - Found in the Philippines at elevations up to 1000 meters as a hot to warm growing epiphytic species with upright to pendent, slender, leafy stems carrying 2 ranked, leathery, linear-oblong leaves that blooms in the late summer, fall and winter on an axillary, short [5 cm] single flowered inflorescence with 5 yellow bracts and carrying flowers that are pleasingly fragrant but not long lived.

Dendrobium Anosmum - is widespread from the Philippines to New Guinea, including in Borneo and many islands in Indonesia. There is also in Malaysia, Thailand, Laos, Vietnam and Sri Lanka. On the islands of Luzon and Mindanao, this orchid can be found in mountain forests at a height below 750 m. In Papua New Guinea, it grows on trees with uneven crust at altitudes up to 1300 m above sea level.

Aerides Leeana - is endemic to the Philippines. It occurs on Luzon in severly fragmented habitats (Bataan, Camarines Norte, Camarines Sur, Cavite, Quezon, Rizal) and Samar Islands. It grows in brightly lit environments at low altitude in primary and secondary lowland forests. It is a small to just medium sized, monopodial, cool to hot growing epiphyte with curved stems carrying many, lorate, leathery, unequally bilobed apically leaves.

Phalaenopsis Equestris or "The Horse Phalaenopsis" - is native from the Philippines island of Luzon to Taiwan, at an altitude of 0-300 m, near streams in the hot valleys. It is a small sized, hot growing, monopodial epiphyte with a short stem enveloped by several limbricating leaf bases and carrying to 5, fleshy, recurved, oblong-elliptic to oblong-ovate, acute or subobtuse leaves. The leaves are 15-20 cm long.

Aerides Quinquevulnera - found in Malaysia and the Philippines at elevations of 300 to 2000 meters in bright light locations as a large sized, hot to cool growing monopodial epiphyte that has lorate, leathery leaves that are apically bilobed and bloomsart most any time of the year on a densely many flowered, 18" [45 cm] long, sharply pendulous inflorescence with fragrant cinnamon scented, long-lasting, waxy flowers.

Dendrobium Profusum - found in the Philippines at elevations around 300 to 500 meters as a medium sized, hot growing epiphyte with slender, pendulous, green stems carrying deciduous, distichous, lanceolate leaves that blooms on a slender, pendulous to 15 flowered inflorscence arising from near the apex of the leafless mature stem. The flowers of this species are variable in color from tricolor white, white, yellow and violet to red brown with yellow to a concolor yellow-green.
