Not sure if this is good for the plant but I tried using chestnut and pistaccio shells as cover to prevent the soil from running out of pots. Trying to recycle and reuse to lessen my contribution in the land fills. ♻️🌎🗑

🪴 Day 57 of my Rubber Tree Propagation (second attempt). Only one survived. I took out the other plants from the plastic bag way to early I think that is why they didn’t developed. Still happy that at least one survived and I think this is ready to be transplanted. 👏🎊🍾

Update on my Rubber Tree Propagation.🪴 This is from my first attempt. I really thought I failed already because several weeks have passed and it looked like its just surviving for the sake of not dying. 🗣 Tried to talk to the plant once in a while to please not die and it seemed to have worked! It’s alive! Hooorrray!!! 🎊

Day 4️⃣0️⃣ What my worms ate yesterday? Sweet Potato, Melon and Parsley. What a combination? sorry wormies. 🥴

Day 2️⃣8️⃣ What my worms ate today? Banana Trunk! We ordered something and found the Banana Trunk inside the bag. Instead of throwing it away why not reuse it and give it to my wormies as a treat! ♻️ Lessen the garbage 🗑 + Happy Wormies 🪱 = Happy Planet? 🌎

Hooorrraaay for another successful feeding! 🎊 We are now on Day 2️⃣8️⃣ and based on how the worm bin looks like it seems like my wormies enjoyed the food we gave them. 👏👏👏 It could also mean that we are successful in trying to reduce the garbage we contribute in our landfills because we used our kitchen scraps in feeding our wormies instead of throwing it away. ♻️♻️♻️ .

Day 1️⃣8️⃣ What my worms ate today? Camote tops, Carrots, Cabbage, Pechay, and Potato peelings. This is the third batch of feeding after 18 days from the set up date. 🍽🍼

👩‍🏫 Tip Based on experience, when you feed your wormies put it on the opposite side of your worm bin. Make sure you have a mark where you placed the first feeding so it is easier for you to locate the opposite side. Confusing? ✌️

I found a treasure inside my worm bin!!! 🌟 Seeds started to sprout. It’s like a validation that the worm bin is A-Okay! 🌍♻️🗑 Now the question is what seedling is this? 😆

How are my wormies? I’m down to 3 worm bins now. I transferred the wormies I placed inside the ice cream tub on the fruit crate worm bin. Seems like 2 out of 3 worm bins is doing okay. Not sure what will happen with the 🐜 ant infested 🪱worm bin. I sprayed 💦 water… hopefully it will get better soon.
