🏟️ A Vision for the Future of Sports in Puerto Princesa City 🌸🦚

What if the Ramon V. Mitra Sports Complex could evolve into a landmark that truly reflects the identity of Puerto Princesa?

This conceptual design inspiration draws from two iconic symbols of the city—the majestic Palawan Peacock-Pheasant and the vibrant Balayong trees that bloom around Balayong People's Park. The flowing architectural forms are inspired by the elegant feathers of the pheasant, while the landscape celebrates the seasonal beauty of Puerto Princesa's own "cherry blossoms."

More than just a sports venue, this vision imagines a destination where sports, culture, nature, and community come together in one unforgettable place.

What if the future Aborlan Public Market becomes more than just a marketplace?

Imagine a modern and iconic public market that serves not only as the center of commerce, but also as a symbol of Aborlan's identity, culture, and progress.

For this conceptual design vision by ENC+DESIGN STUDIO, the architectural form was inspired by the municipality's animal icon—the 𝗪𝗶𝗹𝗱 𝗕𝗼𝗮𝗿. Known for its strength, resilience, and determination, the wild boar became the main inspiration behind the flowing rooflines and bold architectural character of the proposed market complex.

The concept envisions a vibrant community hub featuring a modern Wet Market, Dry Goods Section, Farmers' Market, Food Court, Commercial Spaces, and open public areas designed to create a more comfortable and enjoyable experience for both vendors and visitors.

Beyond functionality, this proposal aims to showcase how public infrastructure can celebrate local identity while embracing sustainable and future-ready design.

This is not just about building a market—it is about creating a destination that the people of Aborlan can proudly call their own.
