This mighty steel structure at the center of the National Museum of Natural History by architect and heritage conservation champion Dominic Galicia is not just a Tree of Life. It is called the DNA Tree of Life because of its double helix which extends upwards to form the leaves and branches that collectively form the canopy of the courtyard.

As an early summer treat, we present a beautiful collaboration entitled “Morphe”.

A Gaan x ceramicist Iori Espiritu collaboration, each artisanal piece, from jar to bowl, is carefully hand-crafted from white stoneware materials and finished with underglazed painting, making each both beautiful and durable.

Inspired by the images painted by renowned modern artists, we made sure each jar or bowl has interesting but contemporary morphological forms of flora and fauna, painted in muted palette and coated in either matte or glossy finish.

A true collector’s pottery, you can get your hands on these adorable jars and bowls by purchasing a mystery box. To learn more about the mechanics, kindly drop us a message.

Inspired by the colors of the sky and the sea from her last travels in Palawan, Philippines, and Sri Lanka, ceramicist Catherine Choachuy explores different media, from powdered stains to porcelain clay, to recreate the visual experience.

Carefully blended and coiled, each mixture creates hand-sculpted pottery that captures and reflects the tranquility of the sky and the sea.

These vases—each made between three to five hours— were coiled thinly and made as light as possible to give contrast to what is desired with hand-built ceramics.

A new Gaan Studio x Catherine Choachuy collection, Seascapes features eleven colored ceramic and stoneware pieces.

If you are keen to see our collection catalogue and own one of our Seascapes pieces, kindly drop us a message.
