My Thai basil cuttings are growing such lovely, long roots, and they’ve only been in distilled water for a week and a half.

There are two miracles here: the miracle of nature itself at work, and the miracle of these bottles not breaking at all while they were outside during the height of Typhoon Ulysses.

The garden makes me believe in miracles.

And I’m back! This time with a plant that I bought before under false pretense, thinking that it was a green tea plant, but which turned out to be a snake jasmine plant! And it’s growing really well in my garden.

What is it good for? Well, snake bites ... I hope I’ll never need to test that theory 😆

The silver lining is that when it ‘comes of age’ (i.e. when it’ll grow much bigger than this), it should bear pretty, little white flowers.

Garden no. 3. 16:15. Is it just me or does that cluster of trees on the right (caimito, and rambutan, with overgrown patola vines hanging off of them) look like three elephant heads swaying in the wind?
