The Narrative
The Luminous Pavilion is a study in the balance between transparency and seclusion. Designed for the modern dweller who seeks a connection to the outdoors without sacrificing the sanctity of the home, this residence utilizes wide-format glazing to blur the boundary between the interior and the surrounding landscape.
The design philosophy focuses on horizontal layering. The dark, bold rooflines provide a sense of protective shelter, while the warm wood under-cladding prevents the structure from feeling cold or clinical. At dusk, the house transforms into a glowing lantern, with integrated warm lighting highlighting the sophistication of its geometric silhouette against the soft evening sky.

The Floating Canopy: Deep, cantilevered roof slabs provide essential solar shading and protection from the elements while creating a dramatic, weightless aesthetic.
Linear Privacy Screen: A bespoke horizontal slat fence serves as a cohesive architectural element, offering security and privacy while maintaining a sense of openness and airflow.
The Double-Height Gallery: A central glass volume creates a grand vertical statement, allowing the interior social spaces to feel expansive and bathed in natural light.
