Table top is made of 2 pieces Tiger Kamagong slabs bearing 2 inches thickness x 36 inches diameter.

Ideal as a 4 seater dining table or coffee table set, or as a welcome center piece table in your home.

Kamagong is one of the most beautiful and most expensive native woods in the Philippines. It's beautiful and amazing woodgrains varies in contrasting colors from deep black to deep brown or reddish brown. Tiger Kamagong has woodgrains similar to the stripes of the skin of a Tiger. Hence, the name of the Tiger Kamagong variety.

Antique collectors often say that Kamagong furniture has always been highly prized, more so if the wood was completely tiger black. It was only for the very rich, because not only was the material very hard to find, but also because the density and hardness of the wood made it extremely difficult to work with. Artisans working with kamagong had to sharpen their tools almost every half hour, and a wrong move during carving usually resulted in a chipped chisel blade. Furthermore, kamagong sawdust was very fine and tended to get into the pores of the skin, making it itch.
