😱 Our Ficus Shivereana's variegation has finally returned! A while back, when we were doing some garden cleanup, we placed it in a shadier section of our garden. We noticed that its leaves turned a darker shade of green, and no variegation appeared each time it sprouted a new leaf.
We learned that lack of light is typically the cause of variegation loss. A variegated leaf cannot return to its lighter color once it turns green again. However, as soon as it starts to receive more light, any new growth will have more variegation.
Happy Thursday!💚🌞
