Architect Gerald Bermido of Schedio Architects envisions this house with a timeless approach using established design principles of Balance, Proportion, and Repetition. Contrary to the rising popularity of asian tropical houses. Architect Bermido explored the option of designing the house with respect to the established character of a mediterranean home - yet without compromising the comfort, convenience and pleasure of living in a tropical environment.

The design character was heavily informed from the aspirations of the owner. Having been closely involved in the design process. Every step of the schematics was bespoke to the owner's specifics and guided through the nitty-gritty part of technical specification.
Owned by a chief Sea woman, this classy dwelling in an exclusive enclave in the South will stand-out with deference to nature.

Along with the space program that follows an open plan layout, allowing a bigger double volume living space. Schedio Architects took account and careful consideration on how the family will spend most of their time. With a bigger ground floor bedroom with family lounge for their mother; to allow the family to spend time in comfort together.

Current residential architecture trend in the Philippines give something a miss with the classical designed houses. Styles that offers little to no tropical design. But it is clearly Filipino as the spaces enunciate strong filipino values such as Family ties, neighborly and convivial - values that transcends facades and characters.
