The SpeakerFix offers professional speaker repair, restoration and rebuilding services for a variety of speaker brands including branded speakers.
SpeakerFix also sells parts and speaker components for its customers.
We provide all aspects of speaker repair services and problem situations that may arise. Amongst the most common situations are:
reconing, refoaming, releading, and cabinet repair.

Reconing
The removal of all the original moving parts from a speaker frame and the installation of a new voice coil, spider, cone, surround, gaskets, leads and dustcap. The speaker is “cleaned” down to the magnet and frame and usually “rebuilt” exactly as originally “coned” at the factory.

Refoam
The removal and replacement of the center dustcap and the surround that connects the cone to the speaker frame.

Relead
The replacement of the tinsel or pigtail wire that goes from the terminal on the speake frame through the cone to the voice coil lead
