I never expected this! I just posted my Bahay Simple plan bundle on Facebook Marketplace last month, offering it at a very affordable price — with an option for online design consultation. I honestly didn’t expect anyone would inquire because the listing ended up under 'property for rent'.
To my surprise, someone messaged me this Sunday asking for a design consultation for their 50-year-old two-storey townhouse! At first, I thought she was inquiring to rent, but it turns out, she understood my listing well and was looking for help with their renovation.
She only gave me photos (no as-built drawings!) and said she’s been stressed out thinking about what to do with the canopy and roofing. The rest? All visual estimates — I had to "tantsa" the dimensions just from the photos. The client was amazed by my eyeball measuring skills, haha!
Because she’s my first-ever online consultation client, I offered a very budget-friendly fee, which included proposed perspectives with up to two revisions. All she wanted was a simple, guided renovation — just a clear design direction with a cohesive color scheme and a refreshed look for a cosmetic facade makeover.
I finished the work in less than a day. She was so happy when she received the output — complete with perspective and written specs. After one revision, we landed on the final look. She sent her payment right away with a heartfelt thank you, and wished me luck on future projects.
I also asked for her permission to post this — and here it is!
This small project reminded me how fulfilling it is to help people through design, even in small ways. I feel so grateful.
Thank you for trusting me!
