Alleluia! He is Risen!
Easter Sunday is the pinnacle of the Christian faith—the day the stone was rolled away and the ultimate victory over death was won. It is the transition from the "Great Silence" of Saturday into a symphony of joy and eternal hope. The darkness of the Passion has been permanently shattered by the Light of the World.

Just as the sun rises to chase away the night, the Resurrection of Jesus brings a new morning to humanity. It is the assurance that no matter how deep our trials or how heavy our crosses, they do not have the final word. Easter is not just a historical event we remember; it is a living reality. We serve a risen Savior who walks with us, breathes peace into our fears, and calls us by name, just as He called Mary Magdalene in the garden.

Lord Jesus, we rejoice today in Your glorious Resurrection! You have broken the chains of death and opened the gates of heaven for all of us. Fill our hearts with the fire of Your love and the certainty of Your hope. May the joy of this day remain with us, transforming our sorrows into strength and our doubts into faith. We praise You, our Risen King, now and forever. Amen.

Black Saturday is a day of profound stillness. It is the "in-between" time—the space between the agony of the Cross and the glory of the Resurrection. The tabernacles are empty, the altars remain bare, and the world seems to hold its breath.

While Good Friday was a day of action and noise—the shouts of the crowd, the strikes of the hammer—Black Saturday is defined by absence. It teaches us the spiritual necessity of waiting.

For the disciples on that first Saturday, all seemed lost. They did not yet see the sunrise of Easter. Black Saturday honors those moments in our lives when God seems silent, reminding us that silence is not absence. Just as a seed must sit in the dark, cold earth before it can break through as a flower, this day represents the hidden work of God. Even when we cannot see it, the power of life is stirring beneath the surface.

Lord Jesus, on this day of Great Silence, we sit by Your tomb. Thank You for the reminder that even when You are silent, You are still working for our salvation. Give us the patience to endure our own "Saturdays"—those times of waiting and uncertainty—with the firm hope that the morning is coming. May we rest in Your peace today, so we may rise with Your joy tomorrow. Amen.

In the scriptural accounts of the Passion (John 18:1–19:42), we see Jesus laid upon the wood of the Cross. What was intended as an instrument of shame became, through His surrender, the instrument of our salvation.

"It is Finished": These final words from the Cross are not a cry of defeat, but a shout of completion. The debt is paid; the bridge between God and humanity is restored.

We look upon the One who bore our griefs and carried our sorrows. Good Friday reminds us that there is no depth of human suffering that He has not personally touched and redeemed.

Lord Jesus, today we stand in the shadow of Your Cross. We are humbled by a love so vast that it chose the nails, the thorns, and the spear for our sake. In the silence of this day, help us to realize the gravity of our sin and the even greater weight of Your mercy. May we never take for granted the sacrifice that gave us life. Into Your hands, we commend our spirits. Amen.

Good Friday is the most somber day of the liturgical year, a day of profound silence and deep reverence. We stand at the foot of the Cross, witnessing the moment where Divine Love meets the ultimate sacrifice. It is a day not of celebration, but of awe-filled contemplation of the price paid for our redemption.

As darkness covered the land from the sixth to the ninth hour, we reflect on the moments in our own lives where we feel forsaken. We find comfort knowing that even in the deepest darkness, Christ is there.

From the side of Christ flowed blood and water—the fountains of sacramental life. Even in death, He continues to pour Himself out for us.

Today, we "behold the wood of the Cross, on which hung the salvation of the world." It is a time to lay down our own burdens, our sins, and our pride at His feet.

Today, the liturgy shifts from the somber anticipation of the week into the Sacred Triduum, beginning with two transformative acts: the Washing of the Feet and the Institution of the Eucharist.

In John 13:1–15, Jesus does the unthinkable. He rises from the table, wraps a towel around His waist, and performs the task of a lowly servant.

As they shared the Passover meal, Jesus took bread and wine, transforming a traditional ritual into the Eternal Covenant.

After the meal, the atmosphere shifts to the Garden of Olives. We reflect on the "Watch and Pray"—the request to stay awake with Him in His agony.

Lord Jesus, as we enter these most holy days, teach us the mystery of the towel and the basin. Strip away our pride and clothe us in Your humility. As we receive the gift of Your presence in the Eucharist, may we become what we receive—a source of nourishment and healing for a broken world. Stay with us this night, Lord, as we keep watch with You. Amen.

Holy Wednesday is often called Spy Wednesday, marking a somber and introspective turn in the Lenten journey. It is the day the liturgy remembers the shadow of betrayal—the moment when Judas Iscariot agreed to hand over Jesus for thirty pieces of silver.

In this moment, the focus shifts from the public teachings in the Temple to the private, quiet choices made in the heart.

Lord Jesus, on this Holy Wednesday, we acknowledge the times we have turned away from You for things that do not last. Cleanse our hearts of any hidden betrayals and give us the strength to be faithful. As the shadows of the Passion grow deeper, let the light of Your mercy be our only guide. Amen.

Holy Tuesday marks a pivotal moment in the journey of the Passion. It is a day characterized by the intensifying shadow of the Cross, yet illuminated by the unwavering resolve of Jesus. As he teaches in the Temple for the final time, we are invited to look deeply at the state of our own hearts.

Holy Monday calls for a deliberate pause, marking the transition from the crowd’s welcome to a more solemn, interior journey. It is a day that emphasizes the necessity of integrity—ensuring that what we build on the outside is matched by a solid, unshakeable core. Just as the finest steel is defined by its internal composition, this day invites us to examine the hidden strengths of our character and the purity of our long-term goals. 🛠️

In the quiet progress of this week, we find that true endurance is forged not in haste, but in steady, prayerful persistence. At COLORROOF, we honor the discipline required to remain steadfast through every season of change. May your Holy Monday be a day of refined focus, providing the internal stability and grace needed to walk the path of this Holy Week with a resolute heart. 🌿
