This renovation project began with a clear intention—to understand and translate the client’s vision of their future home into a space that is both personal and purposeful. As designers, we place strong emphasis on creating for the end users, ensuring that every decision responds to their lifestyle, aspirations, and daily rhythms.
The design approach centers on materiality and function. A carefully curated palette of limewash-textured walls, natural stone tiles, fluted glass, and warm oak wood establishes a grounded, tactile environment that evokes a sense of calm and authenticity. Each material was selected not only for its aesthetic value but for how it contributes to the overall spatial experience.
Equally integral to the design is the treatment of light. Layered lighting strategies—combining ambient, accent, and task lighting—were employed to shape the atmosphere throughout the home. Soft accent lighting enhances textures and highlights key elements, creating depth and a warm, inviting ambiance.
Together, these elements form a cohesive renovation that prioritizes comfort, functionality, and a timeless connection to natural materials—resulting in a home that feels both refined and deeply lived-in.
