Rich finishes and tailored furnishings shape a lounge that defines modern workplace luxury. Panoramic views blur the boundary between interior and skyline. A thoughtful composition of form and function at every angle.

A low-cost residential typology that reclaims the space between buildings as the true heart of community. Located in Antipolo, this project quietly resists the monotonous block forms that have long defined affordable housing. Instead, it breaks the massing into modular L- and T-shaped floor plans, arranged side by side with deliberate intention. This simple geometric shift does something profound: it carves out negative spaces that transform into parks and playgrounds, each precisely the size of a basketball court — a nod to the half-court gatherings that remain the lifeblood of filipino neighborhood culture.

Every building, through its own void, claims equal access to open air and shared ground, ensuring no unit is denied a communal backyard. The blocks themselves are adorned with alternating patterns of pastel brown and pastel green, a subtle, cost-effective gesture that echoes the natural hues of Antipolo’s tree-lined ridges.

Our vision sees architecture not as a symbol of authority, but a framework of true democracy, where government does not stand above the people. It stands with them.

The idea emerged from a simple democratic belief that rather than creating barriers that separate government from citizens, the project creates an open civic ground that flows continuously through the site; accessible, visible, and shared by all.

In this development, the National Assembly is positioned along the outer edges of the site, allowing citizens to occupy the expansive central civic ground. The civic plaza becomes a shared social space, where institutional functions no longer dominate the center but instead recede to frame and support public life.

Design with Purpose. Build with People.

WTA Q2 Town Hall was a moment to reflect on how far we’ve come—and more importantly, where we’re headed. From global recognitions and major project milestones to the systems, standards, and culture that shape our daily work, the session reinforced one thing: growth means nothing without clarity, discipline, and shared purpose.

This quarter is not about chasing momentum alone. It’s about refining how we think, collaborate, and deliver as a practice.

As WTA continues to expand across sectors, scales, and platforms—from civic work and public realm projects to Anthology ASEAN Architecture Festival—we remain grounded in the belief that meaningful architecture is built through people, rigor, and collective effort.

Different juries. Different countries. Same result—WTA shows up.

If Q1 was about momentum, Q2 is about precision.

A high-rise typology born from spatial necessity and cultural intuition. Conceived on a constrained government lot in quezon city, this concept stacks the programs upward — a conscious response to limited urban land. Yet, in its verticality, it also rekindles a familiar Filipino dynamic: the intergenerational home, where the elderly and young thrive under one roof, just as generations have done in households across the country. Housing a childcare wing on the left and an elderly wing on the right, the two programs read as one unified volume from the front, stitched together by a central utility core that streamlines staff operations. Beyond efficiency, the design leans into a growing body of research showing that co-locating care for seniors and children meaningfully reduces elderly isolation while nurturing empathy and social skills among the young.

Straying away from the sterile aesthetic of traditional care facilities, the facade is a canvas of swirling, happy colors, achieved through painted concrete and perforated sheets, the building becomes a joyful landmark, proving that care architecture can be both functional and playful in form.
