Design Concept – DITU (Liquor Bar & Café)
The design of DITU is envisioned as a flexible and welcoming dual-purpose space that adapts to different users and atmospheres throughout the day.
During the daytime, the store offers a relaxed and family-friendly environment where children and guests can enjoy reading books and ordering milk teas. The mural wall, inspired by the owner's sons’ favorite storybook, adds a playful and meaningful character to the interior while creating a warm and inviting atmosphere.
As night comes, the space transforms into a lively liquor bar specializing in lambanog and alcoholic beverages. Warm lighting, neon accents, and focused illumination at the bar create a youthful and energetic pub ambiance suited for social gatherings and nightlife.
The overall design balances comfort, functionality, and identity, allowing one space to serve both a calm daytime café experience and a vibrant nighttime bar atmosphere while reflecting the personal story and vision of the owner and his family.
