Project: G Residence renovation and expansion
Location: Laoag City, Ilocos Norte

Initially, the Client only wanted a partial floor plan of the whole house because he was planning to only build a specific space first, and then do another space planning for the next spaces to be built. As Architects, it is our duty to advise and educate our clients with a more ideal approach when it comes to planning and design.

So what we did instead was plan the house holistically to give the client a broader view of the interrelationship and use of the spaces. With this approach, we are able to consider how construction can be done in phases in a more practical way.

2/2 Embracing Earth Tones and Nature

The house seamlessly merges with its surroundings, blurring the line between indoors and outdoors. Large windows showcase scenic views and fill the interiors with natural light. A garden niche near the staircase introduces a touch of greenery indoors, providing even more connection with nature.

The interior is dominated by warm tones of stone and natural wood, creating an atmosphere of coziness and tranquility.

Just dropping by to show you guys that bare concrete hollow blocks can still look beautiful.

Located in Ilocos, this expansion project features materials in their raw/bare form, proving that you don't need to spend too much for your house to look amazing. As long as the quality is there, you're good to go!
