This one is a good reminder that design isn’t just about aesthetics. Mall kiosks come with rules, restrictions, and limitations that you have to solve creatively.

Denali x CAA Project: BE HEALTHY KIOSK | 2m × 3m (Walk-in Type)

Unlike typical kiosks, this layout allows customers to enter the space to experience the products. The client wanted the design to match their previous kiosk in a different mall, but since this site is along the hall railings, there were height restrictions that prevented an exact copy. We worked around those limits while keeping the brand feel and aligning with the mall’s design features.

Design note: For kiosk projects, being informed about mall restrictions (height, signage, lighting, materials, and overall form) is essential so the final output is compliant, buildable, and still on brand.

PROJECT: THE LEMON COMPANY KIOSK | 2m x 2m

A beverage kiosk designed using the brand’s profile and previous kiosk references. The challenge was balancing mall design standards while staying true to The Lemon Company’s branding and identity-fresh, bright, and recognizable without going too far from their established look.

MALL SAFETY & SECURITY ORIENTATION | Market! Market!, BGC

Part of being a hands-on designer and project manager is understanding what happens beyond drawings, especially on active mall sites. I attended the Mall Safety and Security Orientation at Market! Market! to stay fully aligned with onsite guidelines and procedures.

This orientation is mandatory for construction personnel and is typically required to:

Secure work permits
Ensure proper site access
Help prevent unauthorized entry
Keep everyone aligned with safety protocols, emergency procedures, and security rules

Real projects don’t run on design alone. Ex*****on requires compliance, coordination, and responsibility on site.

Funhan Mart Convenience Store | Ayala, Makati (OJT Work)

Funhan Mart is a Korean convenience store chain expanding its presence in the Philippines. During my OJT, I became part of the franchise team where I supported store rollouts by producing both the technical drawings and the presentation visuals.

For this branch, I worked on:

Architectural plans / CAD drafting (comprehensive drawing set)
3D modeling of the proposed store layout and interior
Realistic renders to communicate the design direction
Walkthrough to present the space and overall customer experience

The goal was to create a store that’s functional, brand-consistent, and visually appealing, while adapting the design to the local site context and market.
