Party Times would have to be some of the funnest looking plants with their hot pink/magenta-ish variegation.

It just sucks that we’re currently having a snail problem and they seem to love these plants. We lost a few… and those were the big leafed ones! Good thing grandma managed to rescue the others.

One of my favorites in the pocket jungle would have to be the Pink Ivy, better known as Asiatic Jasmine... or for the nerdier bunch Trachelospermum asiaticum. They may not be related to actual jasmines, but they do give out white to yellow star-shaped flowers that smell really good. Or so they say.

In all her years caring for these dainty little things, grandma’s yet to see those fragrant flowers! I wonder when we’ll ever see them bloom.
