The hardest part “back to ship”, but also new opportunity for us to prove and improve our relationship to become stronger and better everyday. It’s not just for the relationship but also for us to grow as individual.
Shawn is different in a good way and i love her like that so I support her. She doesn’t want to stay at home and be a house wife. Don't get me wrong, I believe housewives are amazing. But she wants to achieve more. She has her dream and goals like becoming a captain. She strongly stands on this dream.
And along the way, she may not have realized but she has achieved so much more than the goal. She became an Ambassador to one of the largest company that are makes our PPEs onboard. Out of all seafarers out there, she became one. Kaproud no?
My point is, don’t be the one who stops your partner from reaching his/her dreams and goals. Let her explore the world, but be there when she needs you, guide her when she doesn’t know what to do, remind how great she is when she’s in doubt. Be her support system to achieve her dreams and goals in life.
Nothing is easy, if everything is easy then everyone will do it. Work for it.
