APPLICATION PROCEDURE

SURFACE PREPARATION:

New Surfaces
1) Allow the new concrete to cure from (1) one week to one (1) month to reduce water content and alkali to safe levels.
2) Neutralize concrete with ACCN-7250 Alpha Chroma Concrete Neutralizer.
3) Allow the surface to dry thoroughly and sand crystalline deposits. After which, dust off the surface.

Repainting
1) Remove any flaking or peeling paint.
2) Sand, clean, and dust off.

APPLICATION SYSTEM :
Brush or Roller

New or Repainting
Primer: Apply one (1) coat of ROS-WM-6000 Rain or Shine Wall Mastic White.
Putty: Whether it is a spot or full putty, you can repair minor cracks with ROS-5000 Rain or Shine Power Putty White.
1st Topcoat: Apply one (1) coat of Rain or Shine Wall Mastic (Recoating interval is 2-4 hours).
2nd Topcoat: Apply one (1) coat of Rain or Shine Wall Mastic.

STORAGE AND DEAD FLAT LACQUER
Keep the container tightly closed and upright to prevent leakage.
Store in a well-ventilated area.
Always keep in containers with the same material as the original one.
Contain and collect spillage with a non-combustible absorbent material like sand.

DESCRIPTION: BOYSEN® Matte Shield™ is an acrylic, water- based clear matte coating ideally used as a topcoat over any paint finish that needs protection from common household stains. It is particularly useful in maintaining the clean and elegant look of specialty decorative finishes like DECORe™ Classic. This low-odor formulation is designed to provide excellent abrasion resistance ideal for protecting painted surfaces indoors.

Maliban sa clear appearance ng mga lacquer varnishes upang mahighlight ang haspe o wood grains, isa sa mga properties ng mga ito ay ang kakayahan na i-seal ang pores ng kahoy. Sa pag-seal ng pores at pag-cover ng surface completely, nagreresulta ito sa smooth, even, color-consistent at matibay na finish. Ang feature na ito ay hindi kayang ibigay ng BOYSEN Matte Shield. Ito ay recommended lang para sa mga concrete surfaces at coatings at hindi pwedeng gamitin bilang alternatibo sa varnish.

Tandaan: Kapag gagamit ng Wood Stain at Varnish, mabuting sundin ang suggested painting system ng manufacturer.
