This marks the first-ever Oragon Architecture Awards by the district, setting a historic milestone in recognizing the outstanding achievements of Bicolano architects and partners across the region.

This distinguished event honors architects, UAP chapters, and partners across the Bicol Region who have demonstrated outstanding contributions to the profession, the community, and the built environment.

In celebration of the vibrant heritage and cultural identity of Catanduanes, the United Architects of the Philippines (UAP) Catanduanes Chapter proudly participates in the Abaca Festival 2025. As professionals deeply rooted in design, culture, and community development, UAP Catanduanes stands in solidarity with the local government and the people of the province in honoring the resilient spirit of the abaca industry.

As part of its active participation in the said festival, the UAPCC proudly presents the ARKI EXHIBIT 2025—a curated display of architectural designs and projects of Catandunganon Architects.

The United Architects of the Philippines Catanduanes Chapter (UAP-CC) successfully held its General Membership Meeting this April, honored by the presence of Atty. Rene John Velasco of Velasco Law Office.

Despite feeling weak, and still recovering from illness, Atty. Velasco graciously shared his legal expertise with the members, demonstrating exceptional dedication to the profession. He delivered a comprehensive discussion on the legal foundations of architectural practice, particularly emphasizing the Supreme Court ruling that only registered and licensed architects are authorized to prepare, sign, and seal architectural plans.

Through his valuable insights, the members gained a deeper understanding of the architectural profession, the boundaries of practice, and the vital role of UAP-CC in upholding professional standards within our province.

Additionally, during the GMM, the chapter also discussed the upcoming activities of the UAP-CC this May. Procedures and strategies were carefully laid out to ensure the proper ex*****on of the planned events, setting the groundwork for the chapter’s future endeavors.

🎉 UAP Catanduanes Celebrates 20 Years of Excellence with a Successful Membership Induction! 🎉

As part of our 20th Anniversary celebration, themed "Beyond Blueprints: 20 Years of Transforming Visions into Reality," the United Architects of the Philippines (UAP) Catanduanes Chapter successfully conducted its Membership Induction on March 29, 2025, at Ecrown Hotel.

We were honored to have Hon. Sammy Laynes, Mayor of Virac, as our esteemed Guest Speaker, and Ar. Michael Imperial, UAP District B5 Director, who graced the event with their inspiring messages and unwavering support.
