The students of Foundation Studio II, under the supervision of studio instructor Ar. Nida Rehman, explored the design philosophy and surrealist ideologies inspired by Franz Kafka through an innovative studio exercise focused on spatial experimentation and ergonomics.External Juror
Ayesha Rutab.
The students transformed abstract concepts of surrealism into creative 3D architectural models, reflecting variable architectural forms developed according to their individual design requirements. The exercise encouraged students to critically interpret space, human interaction, and experiential design through physical model making.

To promote sustainability and creative reuse, the students utilized recycled materials in the construction of their models, demonstrating how environmentally conscious practices can be integrated into architectural education and experimental design processes.

Dean, Faculty of Engineering, Prof. Dr. Amjad, highly appreciated the remarkable efforts and creativity of the students. He also acknowledged and appreciated the dedicated guidance and mentorship provided by studio instructor Ar. Nida Rehman in encouraging innovative thinking and hands-on learning among the students.

🧱 **Learning Brick Bonds Through Creativity!**

Students explored the world of brick masonry by learning about **Header, Stretcher, Flemish, and English bonds**, and how these patterns are used to provide strength, stability, and beauty in construction.

They sketched the bond patterns and created **3D models using erasers as bricks**, gluing them together to understand how bricks interlock in real structures.

A perfect blend of **Material & Construction concepts, hands-on learning, and creativity!** ✨
