Proposed Commercial & Residential Building at Khaira Saran-Bihar India
1. Overall Form & Massing
• It is a narrow-front, mid-rise building (about 4 stories).
• The façade is composed of rectilinear vertical and horizontal elements, giving it a sleek and modern appearance.
• The building name “AMAL ARCADE” is vertically integrated into the façade, making it a landmark-style feature.
2. Façade Composition
• Glass and Aluminum: The primary façade treatment is large glazing panels with aluminum/metal framing, maximizing daylight and creating a transparent, elegant look.
• Balconies: Each floor features projected balconies with glass railings, slightly angled forward, creating a rhythmic pattern.
• Cladding: The vertical strip with dark cladding (probably stone or composite) contrasts against the lighter main surface, giving depth to the elevation.
• Lighting: Subtle LED strip lighting is integrated along balcony undersides, adding emphasis at night.
3. Entrance Design
• The ground floor entry has a double-height feel with full-glass doors and darker cladding around it for prominence.
• The entrance is flanked by a diagonal structural/visual element in dark finish, adding dynamism and framing the entry.
