Exclusive photos from Dolce & Gabbana’s Fall 2013 RTW Collection runway show, during Millan Fashion Week.
Domenico Dolce & Stefano Gabbana were inspired by the Byzantine mosaics of the twelfth-century cathedral in the city of Monreale. Models were adorned with golden jewelled crowns, cross-shaped earrings and rosary beads. The start of the collection showed printed mosaic fabrics with gemstone details. The collection continued to progress revealing herringbone tweed jackets and black lace. Soon we were back into bright colour with red lace and jewel encrusted dresses. The red and mosaic designs combined to reveal the final pieces of the collection, intricately embellished, red and gold, sequin, jewel and beaded dresses.
