On 14 May 2026, at the PCATP Office, the Chairman of Pakistan Council of Architects and Town Planners (PCATP), Ar. Ejaz Ahmed Qadri, graciously invited the President of Institute of Architects Pakistan (IAP), Ar. Fawad Suhail Abbasi, the Chairperson of Institute of Architects Pakistan – Rawalpindi Islamabad Chapter (IAP-RIC), Ar. Rweeda Himayat, along with the Executive Committee of IAP-RIC, for a tea gathering in appreciation of the successful ex*****on of IAPEX.
During the gathering, Chairman PCATP congratulated the entire team of IAP-RIC and appreciated their remarkable efforts, dedication, and professional commitment in organizing IAPEX successfully. He acknowledged the exhibition as a valuable contribution towards promoting architecture, planning, and the building materials industry in Pakistan, while also encouraging continued collaboration between professional bodies and industry stakeholders.
The meeting was held in a warm and cordial atmosphere where participants engaged in constructive and friendly discussions regarding the future of the architectural profession, professional development, and upcoming collaborative initiatives.
President IAP, Ar. Fawad Suhail Abbasi, expressed his sincere gratitude to Chairman PCATP for the gracious invitation, encouragement, and honour extended to the IAP leadership and IAP-RIC team. He shared that such recognition and support from PCATP greatly motivate the architectural fraternity to continue serving the profession with dedication and excellence.
Chairperson IAP-RIC, Ar. Rweeda Himayat, also thanked Chairman PCATP for his kind hospitality, appreciation, and continuous support towards the initiatives of IAP-RIC. She stated that the encouragement received from PCATP reflects the spirit of unity, mutual respect, and professional harmony within the architectural community.
On the occasion, President IAP Ar. Fawad Suhail Abbasi and Chairperson IAP-RIC Ar. Rweeda Himayat presented a floral bouquet to Chairman PCATP Ar. Ejaz Ahmed Qadri as a gesture of respect, gratitude, and appreciation.
The gathering concluded on a positive note with mutual goodwill, appreciation, and a shared commitment towards the continued growth and promotion of architecture and planning in Pakistan.
