75 years and 87 days. Tomorrow is supposed to be the new year, but would it really be so in Pal3stine? Would it be a new day to a new year or one more day to the dark, cruel and absolutely inhumane 87 days?
Did we really even learn anything from the past or the g3noc1des and ethnic cleansing if we cannot stop the one happening today?
Do you really even respect the victims of the hol0caust, if you do not play your part no matter how small in making sure it never happens again?
Why do some lives matter so much more while no one bats an eye for the others? It wasn't too long ago Ru$sia attacked Ukrain3, I remember the outrage. I remember the support. I remember the clear stances of nations. Why is the world deaf and dumb now?
Play the small part you can in all of this. B0ycott the perfumes, and burgers, and lotions and drinks that taste and smell like nothing but blo0d. Share the content that spreads awareness, you might be uncomfortable from the images or tired of the never ending cruelty, but you cannot even begin to imagine what they've been going through for the past 87 days and 75 years.

Day 51/100 I took an unannounced 12 day (or is it 13 days?) break in my daily art challenge cos life happened and I had deadlines to reach. It's nice to be back here on Instagram and InshAllah I'll again be regularly posting.

Day 50/100 Even though I am not very happy with the fireflies in this one. I decided to not paint over this time like I did last week and just left them be. Though I have to admit, these are actually a lot better than the ones I painted last week. Practice does make perfect. To better fireflies! 🎊

Day 44/100 I wanted to paint realistic mountains with a brush beaches that is something I haven't done much. I usually paint mountains with a palette knife and when I use a brush they're poorly detailed. So this time I wanted to paint some purple monochromatic realistic mountains with a brush, and I ended up achieving all of that except for the realistic part.

Day 43/100 This flower field really tested me. At first I painted tiny flowers in an abstract manner and some fireflies. The fireflies looked really bad, (to me at least) so I changed them into prominent yellow-white flowers. But it still looked as if something was missing so I went over the flowers with silglow acrylics. Alas, here's how it is and I am still waiting for the day I paint fireflies which I don't have to convert into something else. What do you think of this painting?
