In spaces designed for conversation, acoustics aren’t optional, they’re fundamental.

This meeting room was developed with that principle at its core. The acoustic wall wasn’t treated as an add-on, but as an integral part of the architecture; studied, tested, and tailored to the client’s specific requirements.

The result is a space that supports focus, clarity, and comfort, while maintaining a warm, cohesive material language.

Open-plan dining spaces look effortless…
but they rarely are.

Most of the time, what feels “off” isn’t the furniture -
it’s the lack of zoning, lighting, scale, or flow.

In this space, every detail was designed to feel grounded, warm, and intentional, so the dining area holds its own without breaking the openness.

✨ Small design decisions make the biggest difference.

Which of these mistakes do you see most often?

Save this for when you plan your next refresh.

What a year it’s been, Alhamdulillah. We grew as a team, wrapped up so many projects, built amazing relationships with our clients, and learned a lot along the way. There were challenges, long days, and moments of doubt, but it was all worth it. Feeling incredibly grateful. Thank you to everyone who trusted us with their vision. Stay with us as we step into the year ahead and share everything we’ve been working towards, InshaAllah.

Designing this bedroom for three siblings, two brothers and a sister, was such a joyful challenge.

Each of them had their own world, their own energy, and their own way of being in it. Our goal was to create one shared space that still gave each child a sense of “this corner is mine.”

By carefully studying their ages, routines, and interests, we carved out three distinct zones, each reflecting its owner while blending seamlessly into one cohesive room.

It’s where personalities meet, overlap, and coexist beautifully; a place that grows with them, encourages individuality, and still brings them together.

At Zaawya, we believe thoughtful design isn’t just about making things beautiful, it’s about giving form to how people (and in this case, little humans!) live, connect, and dream.

Swipe to the very end to see the before, the transformation will not disappoint you, we promise!

If you could draw your world as a child, what would it look like? For our three little clients, it’s a world of colour, imagination, and joy, and we had the honour of bringing it to life. A room where stories come alive, and every corner holds a spark of magic.

The whole concept and sentiment couldn’t have been captured more beautifully than through the lens of , bringing the space to life just as our little dreamers imagined it.

At Zaawya, we believe in acknowledging all the wonderful people who come together to make it possible, and truly, it takes a village!

Designing calm isn’t about playing safe — it’s about choosing boldness with intention.

In this bedroom, we let the walls and ceiling melt into a deep charcoal grey, wrapping the space in stillness. Light oak parquet adds warmth, while brass details bring quiet elegance. Every piece — from the boucle bed to the abstract coffee table — is chosen to feel tactile, grounded, and serene.

Swipe through to explore the elements that make this room a true sanctuary.
