From the very first simple massing sketches to the refined details that form the building’s character, our project Atlas Tower, is a true labor of a meticulous design process. We are bridging timeless architectural principles with a modern language, focusing on a strong verticality and a graceful rhythm of arches to give the building its identity.

We explored multiple facade configurations and deeply considered the material and detail ideas, from layered moldings to spandrel panel glazing and a solid, welcoming base, to ensure a truly crafted feel.

A look into one of our landmark developments in Afghanistan, Kabul Town. This gated apartment complex represents a sophisticated blend of modern infrastructure and comprehensive urban planning, located adjacent to the historic Bagh-e Babar.

At Landmark Consultants, the focus was on creating a self-sustaining ecosystem. This showcase highlights the grand entrance gate, the central mosque, and the hotel building. Beyond these structures, the master plan integrates luxury residential apartments with essential community amenities, including:

Healthcare & Wellness: A dedicated hospital and private club house.

Social & Hospitality: High-end banquet halls and luxury hotel facilities.

Spiritual Heart: A centrally located mosque designed for the community.

A residential insertion along the iconic Canal Road, where density, movement, and landscape converge into one of the city’s most defining urban edges.

The design process for this apartment building evolved through continuous dialogue between context, form, and inhabitation. Early studies explored massing responses to light, orientation, and privacy, gradually refining the built volume into a more articulated response to its surroundings.

The architecture is driven by spatial clarity, environmental response, and a layered façade strategy that mediates between the urban edge and the private interior world.

Had a very insightful CPD session at Landmark with flooring specialist Asim Shafique from .surfaces

He walked us through emerging architectural flooring and wall finishing systems— including micro concrete, Venetian plaster, micro cement, and advanced screed applications, along with best practices in screeding.
What stood out was that many of these solutions are still not widely available in our market, making sessions like these even more valuable for staying ahead as designers.
