Yesterday, we had the pleasure of taking part in Follow the Leaders by Pro Progressio, where Adaptive's Managing Partner, Michał Bielawski, opened the day with a keynote session:

“Team Leader 3.0: Od strażnika wskaźników do architekta wartości biznesowej” / “Team Leader 3.0: From KPI Guardian to Business Value Architect”

The session focused on how the role of Team Leaders is evolving in today’s business services landscape. As automation continues to reshape operational work, organizations increasingly expect leaders to drive value creation, adaptability, and stronger people-oriented leadership.

Thank you to everyone who joined the session and contributed to the discussions throughout the event. It was great to exchange perspectives on the future of leadership in GBS/SSC and the skills that will define successful teams in the years ahead.

Building AI confidence takes more than one conversation.💡

We recently had the pleasure of meeting with the team at ECCO for two dedicated AI sessions led by Robert Godziszewski and Paweł Płocki.

Designed as practical and interactive workshops, the meetings focused on helping participants better understand how AI tools can support everyday business activities, from communication and content creation to analysis, reporting, and task optimization.

Across both sessions, we explored:
• practical applications of AI in daily work
• effective prompting techniques and structured communication with AI
• opportunities, risks, and limitations of modern AI solutions
• responsible and secure use of AI tools in a business environment

That’s why we’re excited to welcome Álvaro Santos, Vice President, Global SSC at Strategy, as one of the speakers at the upcoming GBS Lions’ Talks in Katowice.

With more than 15 years of experience across Finance, Accounting, Shared Services, and global operations, Álvaro has led transformation initiatives across industries including manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, Oil & Gas, IT services, and real estate. One of the strongest messages from last week;s Shared Services & Outsourcing Network (SSON) Europe 2026 session led by Robert Godziszewski and Paweł Płocki was clear:

GBS does not have an AI tool problem. It has an operating model problem.

The discussion focused on what it truly takes to build an AI-empowered organisation beyond technology itself. From governance and process ownership to leadership mindset and organisational readiness, successful AI adoption requires much more than implementing new tools.
