Some instruments require not only technical expertise, but also a deep understanding of their concert character.

At SAP Renovation, we had the pleasure of carrying out a professional restoration of a Steinway & Sons Model D grand piano for Atanas Valkov .

The Steinway D is a world-class concert instrument a grand piano that must respond to every nuance of touch, preserve a powerful tonal scale, and at the same time offer full control over colour, dynamics, and sound projection.

Throughout the restoration process, we focused on every detail: from the precision of the action, through the stability and refined performance of the instrument, to a sound that gives the pianist complete freedom of interpretation.

The collection of the piano at our workshop was a truly special moment for us. Meeting the artist, speaking together at the instrument, and hearing the result of our work is always the greatest reward for the entire SAP Renovation team.

We would like to thank Atanas Valkov for his trust and wish him many beautiful musical moments with this exceptional instrument.

Some details can never be created by chance.

In our workshop, our technician Paweł handcrafts brass logos that are later applied to restored instruments. This is work that requires exceptional precision, patience, and a deep understanding of the material.

Every line, every curve, and every element of the lettering must be refined so that it harmonizes with the character of the instrument. This is not a mass-produced detail without a soul it is craftsmanship that becomes part of the piano's history.

No plotter can fully replicate the precision, control, and experience of the human hand.

The instrument has undergone a complete restoration in our workshop, allowing it to regain its full potential. It impresses not only with its appearance, but above all with its exceptional sound.
It plays incredibly smoothly, dynamically, and offers a beautiful tone that can captivate you from the very first touch of the keys. It’s an instrument for those who are looking for quality, character, and true joy in playing.

Unique complete renovation in our workshop!

This concert grand Bechstein has undergone a full restoration at SAP Renovation. One of the most important stages of the work was the making of new bridge caps a highly precise task requiring experience, accuracy, and an excellent understanding of the material.

This stage was carried out by Mateusz, who completed the work with the utmost care and attention to detail. Peter Salisbury expressed special thanks to him for his excellent workmanship, professionalism, and valuable insights throughout the entire restoration process.

The instrument made a huge impression, and the final result was received with great appreciation.

Some projects seem impossible at first.
This instrument arrived at our workshop with only the frame and a fragment of the body remaining.
No legs and many other key elements were missing.

Today?
It is a fully rebuilt instrument.
- a new soundboard was crafted
- the full structure was reconstructed
- the entire instrument was rebuilt step by step

This is no longer just restoration, it's the recreation of an instrument from the ground up, while preserving its character and history.
The final result speaks for itself.
