The bedroom opens directly onto the green surroundings, and large sliding doors allow the space to connect seamlessly with the landscape 🌿 At the same time, sliding shutters ensure privacy and protect the interior from overheating.

Z sypialni prowadzi bezpośrednie wyjście na teren zielony, a duże przesuwne drzwi pozwalają otworzyć przestrzeń na otaczający krajobraz 🌿 Jednocześnie przesuwne żaluzje dbają o prywatność i chronią wnętrze przed przegrzaniem.

The cabins harmonize with the natural terrain 🌄 From the back, they appear as single-story structures with entrances “recessed” into the building. Each cabin is accessible by a naturally shaped path that follows the contours of the landscape.

Offsite construction to simplify the energy transition in social housing programme attended!

The project organized by Fondazione per l’architettura / Torino / LURE URBAN THINK TANK.

One of the highlights was visiting a multi-storey CLT office building under construction in Cuneo, built by D-Quadro. We got an up-close look at the impressive hybrid system, combining timber with concrete and steel connections. The architects, façade specialists, and structural engineers behind the project shared fascinating insights into this innovative approach.

The project organized by Fondazione per l’architettura / Torino / LURE URBAN THINK TANK.

The project also featured a workshop where a group of Polish and Italian architects came together to tackle the social housing challenge from a fresh perspective, exploring creative solutions with offsite construction methods.

Offsite construction to simplify the energy transition in social housing programme attended!

The project organized by Fondazione per l’architettura / Torino / LURE URBAN THINK TANK.

The event provided a valuable Italian perspective on the affordable housing challenge, particularly through the lens of modular construction. The two-day program featured intensive panels with numerous specialists covering a wide range of topics, including socio-cultural and environmental contexts, as well as offsite design.

The Eugeniusz Geppert Academy of Art and Design in Wroclaw I 2022

The attempt to translate the “connection of contrasts” into architectural design is manifested in a hybrid of solid and transparent structures. During the day, the complex may appear as a monolith with refined detailing, while after sunset, a play of light and color reveals its inner, “liberated” form.

Próba przełożenia “połączenia kontrastów” w architekturze objawia się hybrydą pełnych i transparentnych struktur. W ciągu dnia kompleks może wyglądać jak monolit z dopracowanym detalem, a po zachodzie słońca zaczyna się gra świateł i kolorów, odkrywających wewnętrzną, “uwolnioną” formę.

The Eugeniusz Geppert Academy of Art and Design in Wroclaw I 2022

The external façade, designed as mono-material, is planned to be made from recycled perforated corrugated steel sheets, serving as a creative expression of the façade’s tectonics. The internal façade, consisting of system glazing and walls with steel or concrete cladding, provides the building’s thermal barrier.

Fasada zewnętrzna, zaprojektowana jako mono-materiałowa, planowana jest z recyklingowanej perforowanej blachy stalowej falowanej, tworząc jednocześnie twórczą ekspresję tektoniki elewacji. Fasada wewnętrzna, składająca się ze szklenia systemowego oraz ścian z okładziną stalową lub betonową, stanowi właściwą barierę termiczną budynku.

The external façade structure on the north and south sides has been designed with the intention of greening the walls – planters placed on each floor on the substructure add a natural character.

Axonometric views illustrate the project’s phasing as part of the competition. The first administrative building, planned as the initial phase, will form the foundation of the entire development. The new campus buildings are designed to create a natural courtyard, which will become the heart of the university, fostering learning and integration.

Widoki aksometryczne pokazują etapowanie projektu w ramach konkursu. Pierwszy budynek administracyjny, zaplanowany jako pierwszy, będzie stanowił fundament całego założenia. Nowe budynki kampusu mają stworzyć naturalny dziedziniec, który stanie się sercem uczelni, sprzyjającym nauce i integracji.
