A space that opens to its surroundings, responding to light, air, and view. 🏝️

This design seeks harmony between architecture and landscape, where light, air, and views merge to create an experience of comfort and subtle luxury in constant dialogue with nature. 🌿

The 2011 proposal for María Llena de Gracia Church in Trujillo Alto envisions a sanctuary of exposed concrete and corten steel. Materials chosen for their strength, endurance, and timeless character. Within this restrained expression, light becomes the central element: filtering through apertures, shifting with the day, and guiding the gaze upward.✨

Movable corten walls open the nave to the breeze, allowing the liturgy to extend beyond its boundaries and embrace the landscape. In this union of durability, openness, and reverence, architecture becomes both refuge and vessel for collective memory. 🌿

A few days ago, we had the opportunity to present the lecture “INCONCLUSO: Memorias de lo que pudo ser” at the School of Architecture of the Universidad Politécnica de Puerto Rico. ✨

It was an honor to share reflections on architecture and memory, while also engaging in meaningful conversation with the students. Moments like these reaffirm the importance of dialogue, exchange, and the role of education in shaping future generations of architects.

Our gratitude to the university community and all those who joined us for this special encounter.

Work in progress!

This terrace design dissolves the boundary between interior and exterior, creating a single space of connection. Vegetation frames the experience, offering shade and intimacy, while louvers above break the sunlight into shifting patterns. 🌿☀️

Work in progress!🔨
Casa Roig, the last and unaltered structure by renowned architect Antonin Nechodoma, stands as both a historic treasure and a symbol of resilience for the people of Humacao & Puerto Rico. 🇵🇷

On the left, the image reveals the visible impact left by Hurricanes: water damage, missing elements, and its fragility. On the right, our render envisions its restored state, the way it was meant to be seen, a reminder of the importance of safeguarding and protecting our shared history.

This transformation is not just about architecture, but about memory, community, and the enduring spirit of a place that continues to inspire. ✨
