Project: Multimodal Transportation Center

As part of our interest to participate in the innovative Public-Private Partnerships' projects, we have developed a design for a Multimodal Transportation Center. The program we worked on included a light-train station, a bus station, spaces for taxis, a commercial strip, a multi-level parking structure, administrative offices and communal areas. A dynamic and contemporary design is used to establish visual impact and represent the importance of the public transportation system.

Project: Linda Garden Residence

The 2,134 sq. ft. residence is located at the Linda Garden Development the city of Guaynabo. The incorporation of ample window openings allows for the maximization in the use of daylight and natural ventilation. It also establishes a strong relation between the interior spaces and their green surroundings. The vegetation is not only incorporated visually but is also present in the interior courtyard located at the heart of the residences' public spaces. The residence has been designed with many sustainable strategies including, among others, the incorporation of gas and energy-star appliances, low-flow fixtures, and a "photovoltaic ready" electric system.

Project: Patillas Town Hall (CONCEPT)

The project for the New Patillas City Hall consisted in the design of two new buildings that will house the principal offices and services of the Autonomous Municipality of Patillas. The design was developed using a modern contemporary style, incorporating active and passive green strategies and technologies. The project is envisioned as an icon of progress for the Municipality and represents its vision of the future for the XXI century.

Project: Ermita San Antonio de la Tuna
Proposal Location: Isabela, Puerto Rico

The project consists of new recreational facilities that will serve the visitors of the ruins of a historic religious structure(The Ermitas - San Antonio de la Tuna). The Municipality of Isabela decided to develop these recreational facilities in a nearby empty site to provide the visitors with a formal parking lot, bathrooms, a cafeteria and a small public plaza. From it's conceptualization, the facilities were concieved as an "environmentally sensible" project that could take advantage of it's exposure as a site of tourist interest to educate it's visitors on the importance of sustainable building strategies. The project seeks to obtain LEED Certification under the New Construction & Major Renovation Rating System.
