Leaky roof repair. Cleaned the surface fist with pressure washer, followed by one coat of bitumen based primer, then the roofing felt. Cheapest and most efficient solution for flat roof

To this.... Little while ago, I have started a complete renovation of this room, in the old, traditional stone wall house in Central Portugal. First of all, I removed the false ceiling, checked the rafters and main beam, added waterproof membrane and installed 5cm thick insulation panels, followed by new plaster board ceiling, with 3 overhead lights. All the walls were rendered with Reboco, painted with 1 coat of primer, and 2 coats of paint. Next was the new concrete floor, which is ready for tiling this week. Then I'll install a mezzanine and the wood stove. Final job will be the last coat of paint to get nice, clean finish. More pictures to follow

Starting to build a mezzanine today. Two main beams, which will support the whole structure will span 3.7 meters. For this I will use kiln dry nordic pine, 22x11cm, strong enough for the job
