Over 5 days the year 0 students at have explored spaces for specific sonorities. Particular properties affecting sound structures and its experience were developed as criteria to define spatial dimensions regulated by one specific material: cross laminated timber, and one structural topic: slab.

Kite House, south elevation.

Wind is a moving mass of air. Buildings are obstacles that deflect or impede wind, transforming its energy into pressure forces. Optimized structures such as aircrafts or automobiles are built according to deflection principles that lower wind resistance and minimize energy. The angle/curve of a surface becomes an instrument to increase or decrease wind pressure allowing to reduce wind vortices and structural mass material.
