7 day holiday at this hotel Eurotel Altura in January we requested top floor before arrival after reading comments on Trip advisor we were given a lovely large Suite on 9th floor sea /beach /gardens/ views spectacular
beach stretches out as far as the eye can see in both directions, sun all day on balcony.{take binoculars}
one of the nicest hotels we have ever stayed in Any were in the world and we have stayed in hotels around the world ..hotel spotlessly clean , staff brilliant internet room/library. pool /gardens immaculately clean
food really nice cannot fault the hotel they even do afternoon tea and biscuits at 4pm last time we had that was in the Mombasa Beach in Kenya and that cost considerably more .lol
took the free hotel bus to the small passenger ferry{ E1.50 each return} which crosses into Spain hourly ,had a nice few hours shopping in a lovely Spanish town and when you come back on the ferry to Portugal {15 mins} the shopping area around the ferry terminal is brilliant streets and streets of shops to enjoy .
the only problem we had was the lack of restaurants and shops open around the hotel In the evening but it was out of season and nothing to do with the hotel.
We Will be returning to this hotel the next time we need to chill out and we know we will really enjoy ourselves Highly Recommended THIS HOTEL SHOULD BE 5 STARS .
