Today, on the anniversary of his passing, we’re celebrating the legacy of Frank Lloyd Wright—architect, visionary, and the creative force behind the iconic Guggenheim New York. 💫

Did you know the Guggenheim was his first and only commission in Manhattan? Or that he insisted on designing every single detail—from the building’s curves to the chairs inside?

Often called the “greatest American architect of all time,” Wright believed architecture should be in harmony with nature and designed to improve our lifestyles. His philosophy of organic architecture continues to influence worldwide. Frank Lloyd Wright didn’t just build buildings—he built ideas that still shape the way we live, work, and dream today.

Richard Neutra designed the Troxell House in 1956 for a wooded site in Santa Monica, California. Built-in seating and floor-to-ceiling bookcases enhance the clean lines of the interiors. Architectural elements stretch outward and into the landscape, such as a wedge-shaped pond and structural elements that continue past the walls of the house, blending inside and out.
