Sometimes it can be very regulating to romantically destroy some guitars 😉🤣 Yearly tradition at the journey man party in Stockholm where I am teaching guitarbuilding. The school year is over and we are releasing a bunch of very talented luthiers into the world 🥰🥂

Complete restoration of this old parlor guitar. Sadly I forgot to take a photo of the very first state. The body-neck connection had collapsed completely and needed slow streching, stabilisation, reglue of loose braces and cracks. Furthermore restoration/reconstruction of bridge and frets and a proper set up. I‘m so happy to bring this beloved treasure back to stage! What a sound! 🥰 Thanks for your trust

I got a smash repair in on one of my own first builds. So nice to play this classic guitar again after those years… I still love it‘s playability and sound. 🥰 I‘m very please with the repair and French Polish retouch and think it turned out almost invisible from the outside. 👍🏻

My first year luthier students are testing some of my small bodied builds.

Fun work on this old parlour guitar: glueing & stabilising of cracks and other damages, reshape (and re-aging) of the bridge to improve the way too high string action. Fun fact: the grain structure of back & sides is only printed on to simulate rose wood while the guitar is made out of cheap local woods 😂 Never seen this before on an instrument. And on a hidden spot inside was an at least 100 year old sticker of a horse placed. Much to discover on this one 🥰

Neck profile reshape. I always love how this beautifully flamed roasted maple popps after oiling. 😍

Sometimes all comes back to the beginning. Repaired this guitar that was once made by a former student long before my time, but you can straight away see on the little details and style of his craftsmanship where this guy was taught 😉🥰 Very interesting and fun indeed.

Those are some pretty corroded frets and strings on this old Gibson ES. Time to make a change 😜
