This opportunity means a great deal to me. Having spent years growing within this industry, I look forward to giving back to the design community that has shaped my journey. I am committed to contributing meaningfully—supporting initiatives that elevate professionalism, strengthen collaboration, and continue raising the standards of interior design in Singapore.

Together with the council, I hope to play a part in pushing our industry forward—championing good design, nurturing upcoming talents, and building a stronger, more progressive design ecosystem.

🎥 New YouTube Video Release – Award-Winning Contemporary Indochine Home

Excited to share the newly released video of our award-winning Laguna 88 project — a stunning Contemporary Indochine 3-bedroom apartment transformation.

This home underwent a complete overhaul, where the original layout was fully reimagined into a refined and timeless living space that blends modern design elements with the elegance of Indochine heritage.

From elegant arched portals and bespoke carpentry to warm timber tones, layered textures, and carefully curated materials, every detail was thoughtfully crafted to create a home that feels sophisticated, welcoming, and timeless.

This project was also recently honoured with the MY FAV International Design Award 2026 by MFID, making it an especially meaningful one for us.

🏆 Honoured to Receive the MY FAV International Design Award 2026

I’m incredibly grateful that our Laguna 88 Contemporary Indochine 3-Bedroom Apartment has been awarded the MY FAV International Design Award 2026 by MFID (Malaysian International Design Award).

This recognition is especially meaningful as it marks the third consecutive year that our work has been honoured at this prestigious international platform.

The Laguna 88 project was a complete transformation. The original apartment was entirely reimagined into a Contemporary Indochine sanctuary, blending modern architectural clarity with heritage-inspired detailing. Arched portals, bespoke carpentry, warm timber tones, layered textures, and curated material contrasts were carefully composed to create a home that feels both timeless and contemporary.

For me, design is not just about aesthetics — it is about crafting spaces with soul, cultural memory, and thoughtful intention.

My sincere thanks to the organisers of MFID for this recognition and for continuously championing design excellence across the region. It is an honour to be part of a community that celebrates creativity, innovation, and craftsmanship.

What an inspiring journey! ✨
A big thank you to Society of Interior Designers Singapore (SIDS) and especially Eric Ong for organizing the incredible Design Expedition Xchange (DEXBKK2025) — bringing together professional members from SIDS (Singapore) and MID (Malaysia) to meet our design counterparts in Bangkok, Thailand.
This expedition was nothing short of inspiring and aspiring for both designers and architects. From the thoughtfully curated showroom tours to the meals and travel arrangements, everything was planned to perfection — just as designers are masters of detail. The meticulous organization ensured the trip flowed smooth like butter from day to night!
It was such a pleasure connecting with so many like-minded professionals, exchanging ideas, and exploring possibilities for future collaborations. Truly a memorable and meaningful experience — one for the books!
Looking forward to many more design expeditions ahead and to DEX2026!
