Proposal for the redevelopment of Ranolder Secondary School and the conjoined old Brewery next door. We suggested the new main entrance and an adjoining dominant ‘floating’ mass containing the new sports-hall along the widened side road. Deliberate contrast between the old and new and a bold statement that rebalances the local town fabric.

Recent Water Park competition submission by our studio, that aims at consolidating each attraction into a well defined building volume. The result is a rather functionalist building with a deconstructivist twist as the volumes are composed into a playful disarray. Stepping out of the prevailing orthogonal planning design requires a certain amount resolve, but the fun-exuding result is worth the effort.

A stúdiónk által nemrégiben benyújtott vízipark pályázat, amelynek célja, hogy az egyes attrakciókat egy jól körülhatárolt épülettömegbe tömörítse. Az eredmény egy meglehetősen funkcionalista épület némi dekonstruktivista csavarral, mivel a tömegek játékos rendetlenségbe lettek összerendezve. Az uralkodó ortogonális tervezési formavilágból való kilépés bizonyos fokú elszántságot igényel, de a vidámságot árasztó eredmény megéri az erőfeszítést.

Throwback to this early project from . This market design came up during a recent discussion, that was constructed with a minimal budget. The principle of the design still applies to what we do today; finding ways to reinterpret vernacular typologies to a contemporary form. Converting a conventional pitched roof here to a hyperboloid surface using only straight pieces of timber.

Visszatekintés erre a korai projektre Babud Csabától (). Ez a piactér design egy nemrégiben lezajlott megbeszélés során merült fel, amely minimális költségvetéssel épült. A tervezés elve még mindig érvényes arra, amit ma is csinálunk; módot találni arra, hogy a népi tipológiákat kortárs formában újraértelmezzük. Itt egy hagyományos nyeregtető lett újraértelmezve hiperboloid felületté, kizárólag egyenes faelemek felhasználásával.

A few snippets from our latest competition submission. Featuring the sportshall & aquatic center component of a large masterplan meant to revitalize a once industrial area. The innovative facade articulation is a sustainable design and creates a strong identity for the whole development. Stainless steel facade with copper inlay at folding surfaces.

Néhány részlet a legutóbbi pályázatunkból. A sportcsarnok és uszoda központ egy nagyszabású városterv része, amely egy korábbi ipari terület revitalizációját célozza meg. Az innovatív homlokzati kialakítás egy fenntartható megoldásnak számít, és erős identitást teremt az egész projekt számára. Rozsdamentes acél homlokzat rézbetéttel a meghajló felületeken.

Az éjszakai megvilágítás tesztelése a GNR HQ projekthez. A napfény nélküli napszakra való tervezést ugyanolyan fontosnak tartjuk, mint a nappalit. Megfelelő világítási megoldásokkal egy épület második arca is feltárható.

GNR HQ’s staff entrance and front view. We made sure the back entrance to the offices is well-defined to be welcoming for company employees. The composition of the horizontal cantilevered roofs, building masses, feature walls and landscaping all work together to convey a balanced yet powerful impression.

A GNR főhadiszállásának személyzeti bejárata és elölnézete. Gondoskodtunk arról, hogy az irodák hátsó bejárata is jól kidolgozott és barátságos legyen a cég alkalmazottai számára. Jokai Apartments - This upcoming small-town mixed use development consists of 4 residential units and a retail space. The site’s complex shape required an intense massing exercise equivalent to a mid-sized commercial building. Maximal effort for a minimal look!
