Most kitchens are rooms. This one is an object.
In the 40 Swatches Apartment, the dry kitchen was designed to read as a freestanding volume in the open plan — something you encounter, not just use. Copper-textured veneer cabinetry, green marble counters and backsplash, smoked glass uppers, brass fittings throughout.
The wet kitchen sits just behind — a separate room, a different mood, revealed through a pivot door.
This is where 40 material swatches became five decisions.
