However, it was to my surprise that to get the supplier to repair was almost out of the question, in terms of their willingness to do so as well as the cost of repair! More than 4 years ago, I was doubtful on this ambiguous venture of repairing blinds, wondering "how many people will actually want to repair their blinds in this "buy and throw" economy" because frankly, I was also planning to change out my own blinds too due to broken strings. Fortunately, the vendor who sold me the blind "challenged" me to repair myself since I hesitated to make a new one. So I bought strings from him to experiment some hands-on repair. And thereafter, kicked off this little hobby-turned-career with the blessing of clients whom decided to repair instead of purchasing new blinds.

Last month marked the milestone of 1500 blinds being repaired (Venetian, roman, roller etc). Grateful for this opportunity that provides me a source of income and the flexibility of time to better balance my life goals and health☺️

Attended a Fengshui/Bazi seminar earlier this year. It is said that for the next 3 years, the planet shall encounter more fire element. Frankly, I dunno what it means exactly 🤣but well, bought 2 to standby JUST IN CASE 🤭. One for home, one for van.
