Today, 6 June, is Windows Safety Day in Singapore. Coincidentally I heard this song on my recommended playlist. I'm sharing it because of the relevance of the background of this song.
Eric Clapton had a son, Connor Clapton. They lived in New York at the time, on the 53rd story of the Galleria. One morning, Connor (4 years old at the time) had wandered close to an open window that has just been cleaned and tragically fell out. There was nothing to stop his fall. He passed away then. There were 3 or 4 other adults in the house. Accidents happen. Eric then wrote this song for his son.
There are many similar stories here. Don't be the next one. Remember to do your checks regularly and schedule a repair immediately if you see any abnormality. Install grilles to prevent young children (and pets) from falling out the window as well. Give us a call if you're unsure, we're here to help.
