Those in my social circle knows I'm not a fan of posting stuffs, attached some behind the scenes photo taken by my team while I was working on different projects. Time to update my profile for a while.
At the same time allow me share my own personal view of running a small business in SG.
To anyone that want to try , just go for it if your situation allows you to, No plan is complete without action.
The start of your sail is gonna be very harddddd, is not as easy as it sounds. Especially in those industry where the market is already so saturated with big companies.
But the current situation isn't very optimal for small business, Overhead fees increasing like no tomorrow, example like labour , rental, diesel materials & GST increase ( now is 8%. I recalled on a news SG goverment gonna up to 15% in the future 😢 )
Not forgetting big projects is close to impossible for small companies to commit on due to the amount of license & labour required to complete the work.
These issues are just the tip of the ice berg🥲🥲
I'm someone that always help anyone in need within my capability. I work with involved parties including customer to make sure the project we take on will go 200%. When my customer ask me for a lower quote, I'll always spend more time to source for lower cost materials or brainstorm another way to complete the project at a lower cost without compromising the quality.
All theses happens behind the scenes at no charge to customer end.
But to what extend is considered low?
The price i quote is fair enough that I believe is worth me and my team time to take on your project. We all have to put food on the table, families to take care of.
Small business we work close to 24/7.
Especially in my industry where we have to deal with the 🌞scorching sunnnnn , delays due to bad weather. Everything we do depends on the weather. Bad weather results in higher costs for every project.
Don't forget some customer can be very demanding but I don't want to talk about it😂😂 is part of customer service 👍👍😁 , nevertheless I still appreciate all my customer!especially those still waiting for their projects to begin!✔️
