Our client is a nutritionist who cooks seriously, every day. The brief was a spacious, functional kitchen in a BTO footprint that was never built for that kind of use.
Eight layout iterations to get there. The fridge moved into the service area to open up the main kitchen. The L-shape corner got a pull-out rack. Storage runs full height from the foyer all the way through.
One thing we will always tell our clients: you can cut back on carpentry if you have to. Never cut back on lighting. Warm lights throughout this flat. That one decision changes how every single room reads.
