As Singapore celebrates SG60, is proud to introduce Bush Stop. It reimagines the everyday bus stops into a green, modular, and restorative urban feature. Developed in collaboration with environmental engineers Cundall, Bush Stop is more than just shelter, it supports biodiversity, cools our streets naturally, and fosters social connection, reflecting Singapore’s commitment to a sustainable, people-centered future.

Stephen Pimbley, SPARK’s Founder, says it best:

“Bush Stop embodies the spirit of SG60. It’s progressive, inclusive, and uniquely Singaporean in its logic.” 🇸🇬

This innovative design proves how even small infrastructure can spark a movement toward sustainable urban living.

Nearly a decade ago, Beach Hut stood as a quiet experiment, reimagining ocean waste as a space for shelter and reflection.

A recent article from The Lancet describes plastic as a “grave, growing, and under-recognised”, since 2016 the plastic crisis has only deepened, shifting from environmental to deeply human.

As we revisit Beach Hut, we ask: what role can architecture play in shifting the narrative?

This is more than a crossing. It is a spatial experience.

Spanning 50 metres across a central canal, SPARK’s connection in Zhengzhou forms the primary pedestrian link between two key plots of a new research and data campus — a project for which the firm also designed the master plan, architecture, and landscape, completed in the first quarter of 2025. More than just infrastructure, this connection is conceived as an elegant connective gesture, uniting east and west with purpose and grace.

Its gentle S-curve plan responds to the offset geometry of the campus layout, offering both practical alignment and a poetic sense of movement. The connection’s tapered form is shaped to convey lightness, with a concealed structural box beam wrapped in a sculptural skin that visually softens its mass. At each end, offset raked concrete columns transfer the load into the canal embankments while allowing the deck to appear as if hovering above the water.

A fully glazed balustrade echoes the soffit’s taper, maximising visual transparency and offering uninterrupted views of the surrounding water landscape. As a result, this connection is not just a crossing, but a spatial experience — a symbol of flow, clarity, and the spirit of innovation at the heart of the campus.

For this years International Museum Day, we celebrate the Suzhou Design Museum—a cultural anchor at the heart of Qingtai International Industrial Design Village.

Suspended above a sculpted landscape and wrapped in over 40,000 shimmering ceramic tiles, the museum fuses tradition with innovation. But more than its architecture, it’s a space for people—for creativity, connection, and community. A reminder that museums aren’t just keepers of history but also active participants in our evolving story.

Suzhou Qingtai Design Village isn’t just a cluster of buildings—it’s a living social canvas where every corner invites discovery. From tranquil water moments to vibrant gathering spots, the design balances richness and comfort in a walkable, breathable village atmosphere.

Phase 1 brought culture and commerce to life; Phase 2 (completing Q1 2026) deepens this vision with Suzhou-style gardens, lakeside F&B, retail, and the iconic Industrial Design Museum.

We are excited to see how our vision continues to evolve into reality, becoming a destination where design, culture, economy, and community converge in harmony.

At the heart of Suzhou Qingtai Design Village lies a serene central lake—honouring Suzhou’s water town heritage while anchoring circulation, placemaking, and cultural activity. Framed by six key buildings and inspired by Suzhou gardens and Kyoto’s Zen landscapes, the lake offers ever-changing perspectives, like a living scroll.

Its centrepiece? A landmark venue for the International Design Award—symbolising creativity, movement, and cross-cultural exchange.

Set across 500 acres near Huqiu Wetland Park, Qingtai blends culture and commerce with design studios, hotels, markets, and public spaces, all stitched together by a vibrant tourist loop and garden-inspired landscapes.

Redefining Urban Living in Chittagong

How can a city seamlessly blend modern living, commerce, and community while staying deeply connected to nature?

When we set out to design Green Park, we envisioned it as a place where urban energy meets natural serenity, a development that doesn’t just function but enhances the way people live, work, and connect in Chittagong. At , we believe architecture should do more than shape skylines, it should shape experiences.

Anchored by a vibrant retail podium and crowned by three striking 19-storey towers, Green Park introduces a bold new architectural identity to the Chittagong skyline. Visitors are welcomed by a grand landscaped stairway, framed by cascading water features that bring a sense of calm amidst the city’s energy. At the heart of the design is Bangladesh’s first ETFE canopy, creating a dynamic, illuminated gateway that enhances the al fresco dining and retail experience, enhancing the space both day and night.

With its innovative facade, lush greenery, and seamless integration of nature and urban life, Green Park isn’t just a development, it’s a vision for the future of urban living.

During International Women’s month, had the pleasure of welcoming and NextGen to our Singapore office! They joined us for a networking session and a tour of our local project, GRiD, as part of their 4-day study tour focused on leadership and innovation in the real estate sector.

This initiative offers a unique platform to explore sustainable architecture, enhance leadership skills, and build international connections. During the session, we showcased some of our recent projects, including our research on recycling Tetra Paks into materials for low-cost housing in Mumbai, addressing the growing waste issue.
